1. Prepare a design brief
- Steel-tip or soft-tip application and intended customer.
- Target weight, material and barrel dimensions.
- Grip layout, finish and logo placement.
- Shafts, flights and other included components.
- Packaging, estimated quantity and destination.
- Drawings or reference images, target budget and required timing.
If technical drawings are not available, explain which features of a reference product matter and which can change. Review the drawing requirements before submitting files.
2. Review feasibility and sample scope
Confirm which features can be produced, what requires tooling, and which dimensions or finishes need adjustment. The sample agreement should identify the specification being evaluated, sample costs, timing and how revisions will be handled. A reference image is useful context; it is not a substitute for an agreed production specification.
3. Approve the sample against written criteria
Review the sample against the agreed weight, dimensions, grip, finish, branding and packaging requirements. Record approved changes and resolve differences before placing a bulk order. Keep the approved sample and specification as a reference for the production review.
4. Confirm the bulk order
The written quotation should state quantity, currency, tooling or packaging charges, payment arrangements, production timing and shipping responsibilities. Manufacturing time and international transit are separate. Confirm any inspection process and the handling of nonconforming goods before approving production.
